KM was the primary focus at a recent US Army conference; specifically the use of KM tools to help treat post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury patients. With the numbers of patients rising rapidly, the Army is using knowledge management concepts to share efforts with civilian medical communities and other government agencies in order to more quickly develop methods to identify and treat these conditions.
