Ford is providing the know-how for a new computer science and engineering course being offered at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor called "Cloud Computing in the Commute." The idea is to develop unique applications designed to enhance the driving experience (not just phone apps moved into the car), such as a "green mileage" or crowd-sourcing tools that can track road conditions and traffic.
