The Army Finds Answers with Knowledge Management 

If you don't follow KM, you might be surprised that the US Army is a leader in the field. This article in Government Computer News describes how the Army Training Support Center is using a centralized knowledge base to answer thousands of user questions every month. It includes both canned, FAQ-style answers, and on call support from Subject Matter Experts. Pretty cool.
